Like many historic Massachusetts towns, Douglas has a variety of older municipally owned buildings. Some are still serving their original purpose, some have been adapted for a new use, and some have been "abandoned" over the years - which is a bit of a sore subject in Douglas. We were hired to do a comprehensive evaluation of existing buildings and of departmental space needs, and to provide recommendations of what town needs could be best met in which buildings. We also evaluated several land parcels for new construction.
