Mashpee Fire Station
When we were hired in the spring of 2007 to design a new fire substation for the Town of Mashpee, the budget had already been established and the money appropriated. Therefore, much of our work involved making the building as efficient as possible to contain costs. The overall size was reduced slightly from the original concept and the most cost-effective materials selected. Bid prices came in well within the set budget, and construction was completed in the fall of 2008.
