We were recently hired to oversee the modernization of this half century old fire station. While it will retain the same structure, by the completion of the project, it will have new doors and windows, as well as a totally rehabilitated interior. The improved facility will have all new, energy efficient mechanical and electrical systems, reconfigured offices and living quarters and all new finishes. In addition to the three apparatus bays on the main level, the station has two additional bays in the walkout basement around the back, where all maintence for the City of Newton's emergency vehicles is performed.
