When Southborough's Board of Health moved out of the Town House recently, an opportunity arose to do some rearranging and to rethink the way the space was allocated in the building. Our task in the first phase was to interview representatives at various town departments to determine their individual needs and to devise a scheme where the adjacencies, allocation of space and access to certain offices made the most sense. A second phase will involve the addition of a vault to store the town's vital records, some of which date back to the eighteenth century.
